With a few affected songs, windows explorer will occasionally show the correct album art, but at random. Some will show with two of these methods, but not through a third. Some album art thumbnails will only show in explorer, some will only show in VLC, and some will only show in iTunes. The problem isn't just that some don't work, it's that it's not consistent at all. When I open my playlist with VLC or iTunes, this behavior is similar, in that most of the album art thumbnails will load correctly.
